Job Description

As a Strategic Talent Sourcing Partner, you will work side by side with senior recruiters on specific priority searches around the IPG Heath Network.  You will ensure recruiters see top qualified candidates in the shortest amount of time as well as ensuring scalability for exponential increases in hiring across the network.   You will also work on a variety of ongoing initiatives and programs to develop Talent pools for future needs and effectively market IPG Health Network as an "employer of choice" in the healthcare communications business.

We are looking for someone who can accurately understand job requirements, develop candidate generation strategies, effectively engage with candidate populations and is passionate about the advertising industry and proactive in pursuing the best talent for our network.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with recruiters to understand roles and hiring needs.  Develop the best strategies to identify and engage with a wide audience of active and passive high-quality talent for full time positions.  
  • Activate search strategies using primary and secondary recruiting tools to effectively source both active and passive candidates.  This will include:

  • Job postings - to include industry/function focused sites and diversity sites
  • Social site networking (i.e., Linkedin, Meetup, Opportunity, Facebook, Slack, etc.) and other industry specific networking sites
  • Name generation and cold calling/contacting
  • ATS searching
  • Boolean internet search

  • Make direct contact with identified prospects to generate interest in assigned disciplines.   Pre-screen interested prospects, secure current resume and understand compensation requirements.  For those that are not interested, request referrals and engage with to understand career goals/desired future roles.  Capture information in ATS.
  • Review direct applications to job postings.  Make first contact with appropriate applicants to review qualifications and determine compensation requirements.
  • Frequently update recruiters on qualified, interested candidates.  Provide preliminary assessment information and any relevant market intelligence.  
  • Organize and capture all information gathered from name generation and market intelligence to develop organization charts of key competitors.  Update charts as needed.  
  • Management and enhancement of ATS data in order to extract most appropriate filters and trends
  • Engage with candidates that come through specialized recruiting sources (i.e. Jopwell, diversecreatives.com, C0ffe3, etc.) to increase the flow of diverse candidates.
  • Contribute to weekly meetings to go over open reqs, review metrics; discuss issues/challenges 
  • Develop and activate CRM email campaigns from ATS to respond to specific events - i.e., new Residency program.
  • Help to organize recruiting events (i.e. Open Houses for experienced professionals).
  • Track metrics to determine effectives of sources and make necessary changes based upon best practices.
  • Identify as well as develop best practices, tools, vendor relationships in recruiting and sourcing - train team on new/groundbreaking technologies and methodologies in recruiting

  • Persuasive communicator - able to understand what will motivate someone to take action and put it into both verbal and written forms
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of Boolean searching techniques
  • Interest in marketing communications or advertising agency space preferred.
