JOB SUMMARY

 

The VP- Director of Engagement Planning is adept at navigating a rapidly evolving and shifting landscape. He/she must be able to make intuitive decisions amidst information-abundance, where sparse facts mingle loosely with data-drenched opinions.

He/she is responsible for helping clients create a seamless brand experience across all touch-points to ensure the customer feels (brand essence, personality) like they are interacting with one cohesive unit.

This highly collaborative role interfaces with key client contacts and internal team members in Brand Planning, Account Management, Media, Analytics, Creative, and Project Management.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 

 

Research

Build customer journeys by understanding which tactics to use and what to do with information obtained by junior engagement team

 

Brand Planning

Work with internal teams to come up with unique approached to tactical development

 

Workshop Facilitation

Facilitate internal workshops and client workshops.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Helps to define effective and innovative engagement strategies including go-to-market communication plans, marketing programs, and business models.

• Must be very familiar with digital business, brand, and marketing strategies; an assertive, yet diplomatic internal/external leader; passionate about health care; and an expert in social, tablet, web and mobile.

• Manages engagement strategists.

• Position the engagement group as a natural extension of the agency's well-established integrated communications services.

• Analyze category cultural norms and plot solutions to break-through clutter and give customers a reason to pay attention.

• Win and write engagement briefs with account and creative teams that define customer experience across web, service, email, direct mail, social media and Internet marketing to cut through the clutter of message, media, feature noise to create a lasting impression on target customers.

• Deliver brilliant customer engagement plans for our clients brands that are focused on retention, renewals and repeat purchase with a direct line to revenue growth.

• Along with the branding team and UX teams, the VP of Engagement is responsible for defining the essence of a brand experience through personality development, guiding principle, value proposition, touchpoint mapping, content development.

• Operate adeptly as a “player/coach” senior strategy professional who leads, manages, contributes to, and ultimately owns the end product of key engagement planning deliverables.

• Develop fully integrated multi-channel marketing experiences to deliver consistent, timely, relevant messaging and content across a variety of channels using closed loop marketing.
